The Fund Manager Code of Conduct (FMCC) issued by SFC was amended in November 2018, requiring that the valuation policies, procedures and processes should be periodically reviewed (at least annually) by a competent and functionally-independent party. BDO Webinar: Review for valuation process: requirements of FMCC & practical issues was successfully conducted on 14 May 2021. Director of Risk Advisory Peter Pang gave an introduction of the independent valuation process review requirements and discussed the review process required by the FMCC as well as the typical issues identified during the review process.
