Portia Tang is the firm's director and heads of two professional service delivery teams, namely Payroll & HR Outsourcing Services and Professional Resources Solutions.
Portia established Professional Resources Solutions in 2018 to meet a wide range of clients’ resourcing needs through our provision of professional secondment, staff augmentation, recruitment, executive search services, and onsite consulting services, etc. She took over the Payroll & HR Outsourcing Services division in 2022, a service line with more than 40 years of experience in servicing clients in a large variety of industries on fully managed payroll outsourcing, HR administration outsourcing, expatriate, and HR advisory services. Portia also oversees the Client Services division of the firm as part of her service commitment to the firm's esteemed Business Services and Outsourcing clients.
Portia has over 25 years of experience working in professional and management consultancy firms in Hong Kong and Australia. She has a wealth of experience in a diversified range of professional services. She specialised in audit, IPOs, business restructuring, mergers & acquisition transactions, and forensic accounting in the earlier part of her career. And, in recent years, she shifted her focus and became specialised in business & HR outsourcing, talent acquisition & management, and business consulting services.
Portia is perceived as an innovative and influential thought leader in the HR industry. Under her leadership, professional experts from Payroll & HR Outsourcing Services, Professional Resources Solutions, and Client Services teams collaborate together to form a strong service unit, to provide a comprehensive range of human capital solutions to our clients.
Portia's portfolio of clients includes private and public listed companies (local and overseas) as well as multinational corporations in a variety of industries including but not limited to financial institutions (insurance and banks), retail, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, service and trading companies.
