Online Training

BDO's online training resources comprise individual IFRSs (equivalent to HKFRSs) and the IFRS Interpretations Committee meeting summaries. These online training materials are interactive and can be viewed online or downloaded to a mobile device.

For each IFRS, there are a high level overview together with a range of accessible 'bite sized' modules that cover separate issues in more detail.   

The IFRS Interpretations Committee is the interpretative body of the International Accounting Standards Board. The role of the IFRS Interpretations Committee is to provide guidance on financial reporting issues which have been identified and which are not specifically addressed in IFRS, or where unsatisfactory or conflicting interpretations either have developed, or appear likely to develop. The IFRS Interpretations Committee meeting decisions are regarded as being highly persuasive materials. All entities that report in accordance with IFRS/HKFRS need to be aware of these decisions, and may need to modify their accounting approach.
